Join us for an exclusive Twilight Tour of Landcraft Environmentals, one of Long Island's most unique and diverse horticultural destinations. Led by owner and nursery manager Dennis Schrader, this educational walking tour will provide attendees with firsthand insight into the cultivation, care, and management of a wide variety of plant materials.

Participants will explore the nursery grounds while learning about the care and maintenance of rotating plant and small tree inventories, the cultural and plant healthcare considerations for underplantings beneath large trees and shrubs, and best practices for moving and installing plant material while minimizing disruption to existing landscapes.

The tour will also highlight the property's collection of unique and exotic trees and plants, including their care requirements and the planning necessary to incorporate greater plant diversity into residential and commercial landscapes throughout the growing season. Additionally, attendees will gain a better understanding of how environmental stress can predispose plants to pest and disease issues, as well as discover unusual plant selections that can complement established landscapes in every season.
